Join us with your favorite patriotic pup for a FREE mini photo session! Our Arlington Camera Ambassador and Educator, Heather Harvey, is graciously volunteering her time to take a few memorable photos of your pet to celebrate our nation’s 250th Anniversary! Bring your canine, dressed up for July 4th if you wish, and you’ll go home with an 8x10 print of your favorite shot!

Join former UTA Continuing Ed photography instructor, Barry Baker, for tips and techniques to capture amazing fireworks photos. Topics include proper setting for manual nighttime photography, location and set-up ideas, and the use of tripods or monopods.

Learn to master lighting. It’s not as hard as you think. Gary starts with the core fundamentals of how to set and predict your lighting. Learn a better understanding of photo keys, classic light patterns, proper light placement, light ratios and exposure metering. Progressing into advanced techniques like balancing off camera flash to the ambient light for a natural look, not so flashy. For newer people, your eyes will be opened to the possibilities and understanding of your lighting. For the more experienced, a refresher in fundamentals and some advanced techniques.
